Peer performances of "On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss"

Here are five YouTube clips of other high school ensembles performing our current piece. Pick two videos and comment on:

Note and rhythm accuracy
Intonation
Tone quality
Dynamics
Blend amongst members of the group
Ensemble (Does everyone have the same sense of beat?)
Musicality and phrasing

Be sure to refer to the score in your unit syllabus packet so that you can make specific comments. The purpose of this exercise is to sharpen your critical listening skills rather than to tear down someone else's performance. For each of the two videos that you review, find at least one positive element in their performance that you feel we should emulate.
